Transform or Conform?

Transform or Conform?

Have you ever really thought about these two terms; transform and conform? According to the dictionary, here are the definitions of these terms:

Transform - to make a thorough or dramatic change in the form, appearance, or character.

Conform - to comply with rules, standards, or laws.

The majority of people tend to conform to things in their world. Now certainly there are many instances where conformation is important such as laws and guidelines set in place for our protection or overall good.

Transformation however, is quite different. A dramatic change is required. Change of any sort for most of us is frightening and often resisted.

Why is it that change is so difficult? Take a moment to watch my video on the topic of transformation. Hopefull you will find some encouragement to take a transforming step in your life!

I'm not much of one for conforming to the mainstream and doing what is expected of me.  I guess I am a non-conformist.  Transformation is another thing altogether which I welcome with open arms.

I have certain goals that I need to transform myself to accomplish. Each day I write down what I have done  to get closer to said goal. Thank you for this gentle reminder to keep on track Paula McDonald

Good evening Paula McDonald ,  A very good video. We have always "Gone for it" throughout our lives and it shows by our History.  I wouldn't change a thing.

Evelyn and I had our own game-board company with several going state wide and one being sold nationally with Kmart.. We traveled around the country selling my art for 18 years, now we have our own Real Estate Brokerage.  We Love the adventure

Paula, You are so beautiful and captivating. You speak well with such articulation. You are inspiring.  Yes, we get stuck and unstuck in life.  I know I have.  Yes, I am in another transformation process … and a book is part of it.

Put it to paper, pen and prayer … I LOVE THAT!
