Sheri's Santas

My dear friend Sheri Clotiaux paints these fantastic Santa's on cypress knees.  A cypress knee is part of the root of the cypress tree that grows above ground.  These gnarly, knotty pieces of wood have been sanded smooth and then a true work of art applied to each.

Sheri lived here in The Woodlands and has been painting these guys for many years.  Each one is completely unique.  She will even personalize them for you.  The picture above is my personal collection and I enjoy adding to it each year.

The detail is phenomenal and these unique Santa's add so much to my Christmas decor.  I absolutely love them.

If you would like more information on getting in touch with Sheri, just call me with the number here on my blog.

Very cool.  I lived on the Southern Oregon coast for many years and got to see people's creativity with drift wood.

Hello Paula~ They are beautiful and so unique.  She must have a lot of patience to paint such detail.  She's a true artist!

Yes, Sheri is a true artist.  I keep telling her that but she is shy about it.

Sheri does very good work with these.  And her prices seem reasonable.  It seems like it is too early to think about Christmas!  g

I would like to get her contact information. I have several of these, but I believe they were done by her mother.

Thanks, Leslie
