2010 NAMED HURRICANES ~ MY NAME IS ON THE LIST! I just saw the list of the named hurricanes for the 2010 season. Right there it was - PAULA! Hmmm....Hurricane Paula. Not sure what I think about having a possible hurricane with my name attached to it? My husband however, would like to tell you that he has experienced Hurricane Paula already. Ha ha!
On a serious note though, it is important for everyone to begin their preparations now in case we are hit with another IKE. The Houston area faced many weeks without power and water. Schools were closed and businesses were devastated due to being closed for weeks on end.
A great website to download a free hurricane preparedness chart can be found at The National Hurricane Center. Get your plan together early, stock up supplies and become familiar with evacuation routes. DO NOT WAIT TO BE PREPARED!

I don't envy you on what you have experienced down along the golf coast. The devastation's just keep coming. You all must very resilient. You have such a beautiful area, and now you are going to have a reputation that will stick with you. Some how you need to use this in your favor in marketability (lol). Be safe and best wishes.

Yes, I just heard it on the news and I was like YES-finally!!!!I am about to email my family and let them know!! (Is this a little sick??) I am not sure if I will be pleased if she peters out or stays STRONG!!!
