JUST SAY NO TO CRACK! Yesterday was a tense day for myself and my entire family as we all knew that today I was going to undergo the lung biopsy. We all decided to go to dinner on The Woodlands Waterway at a great place called Goose's Acre. The weather was perfect as we sat outside enjoying the view and just being together.
As we are enjoying our evening, I just happen to glance over at another table and low and behold a woman is "cracking" me a smile. Not the kind of smile I prefer mind you but rather the kind from her backside that was not adequately covered up. With my wickedly sick sense of humor of course I had to whip out the camera as my family was roaring.
We all were laughing so hard and even called the manager over to tell her we had a "complaint". When she finally saw what we were talking about, her face was priceless! What a great way for the tension that we all felt to just melt away. And no, I am not going to apologize for the picture, it still "cracks" me up.
You all have been so great at sending your prayers and well wishes and I thank you so much. The lung biopsy was this morning and I am home and blogging which is a great sign. Pretty rough day and the procedure was painful. I required a whopping dose of morphine which is now my good friend. It got me home though. For someone who hates to even take an aspirin, the meds were a welcome thing for sure.
I will await the biopsy which should be ready by the end of the week. I cannot believe the concern and love you have all sent my way. The prayers have been felt.
