THE WOODLANDS ICE SKATING RINK ~ NOW OPEN!
Even though our temperatures have been up in the 80's recently, the annual Ice Skating Rink is up here in The Woodlands. This is something that we all look forward to as there just are not that many rinks to visit in the area. Each year at the southwest corner of the Mall, the skating rink appears for a few months.
The rink is open now through January 21, 2012 so there is a lot of time to get there and enjoy zipping around the ice.
The regular hours of operation are:
Monday–Thursday, 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Friday, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Saturday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Sunday, Noon to 7 p.m.
Holiday hours are:
School Holidays: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. (View Conroe ISD School Holidays.)
Thanksgiving Day: 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Christmas Eve: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Christmas Day: 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
New Years Eve: Noon to 1 a.m.
New Years Day: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Prices for two hour sessions includes the skates are as follows:
Monday–Friday
$9.50 for 2-hour skate session
$5 for 2-hour skate session for children 5 and under
Saturday–Sunday
$10.50 for 2-hour skate session
$6 for 2-hour skate session for children 5 and under
