Either Self Implode or Self Improve!

Do you ever find yourself simply at a crossroads in your life?  I know that many of you have been there, are currently there or about to be there!  We all face those times when we must stop, take a breath and assess where we have been, where we are now and where we are going.

When life, family and career can sometimes be overwhelming you can either self-implode or self-improve! What do I mean by this?  I simply mean that how we handle the issues in life can make all the difference in the world!  None of us are immune from the stresses in life.  We are however in charge of how we deal with them.

When life gets tough we can self-implode in many ways.  Bury our heads in the sand, run from it or allow it to control us into a major funk!  A self-implosion is never pretty!

On the flip side, deciding to do something positive with a tough situation can result in self-improvement!  What we do with that heavy backpack of crud and how we carry it can make a world of difference.  It is a choice however, in how we handle the ups and downs in life.

Look for every opportunity to self-improve!  The toughest of situations are most often the richest of learning opportunities.  Learning how to navigate your thoughts and emotions toward self-improvement takes time and diligence.

I hope that you are not mired down in the self-implosion mode!  If you are, seek ways to pull yourself up.  Call a friend, a mentor or a loved one.  Let them know that you need a boost!   Don't allow yourself to stay down!

Surround yourself with positive people, uplifting books or a project that needs your attention.  Self-improvement is a daily activity that takes work.  Life is precious so look for those opportunities to learn no matter what the situation!

Today look for ways to improve and not implode!
