SOUTH MONTGOMERY COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PARTNERSHIP UPDATE
Today was our monthly luncheon meeting for the Commercial Real Estate Association of Montgomery County. Gil Staley of the South Montgomery County Economic Development was our speaker and shared some very encouraging news.
One of the best pieces of news that Mr. Staley shared was that from 2009 - 2010, South Montgomery County (The Woodlands area) experienced over 304 new jobs. That is wonderful news as these jobs bring in the people.
There are many new companies with The Woodlands on their "short list" to bring their businesses to this area. Several of these new companies would be creating 500-1000 new jobs.
Those of us who live and work here in The Woodlands, know first hand what a great community this is.
