THE DACHSHUND DEBACLE - CONTINUES.... For those of you who read my original Dachshund Debacle post about a week ago, I promised that I would post more stories of our cute little wiener dog and his mis-adventures. Here you go for those of you who can relate to funny pet stories.
The ever-nosey Jack, our 8lb dapple wiener dog found himself again in a precarious situation. I could hear something that sounded like paper being dragged around. When I went in search of the sound, there was Jack looking ever so sheepish with his head stuck in the handle of a paper bag.
I promise that I am not posing the little guy for these pictures as that would be cruel. I did however have to let him sit there for a minute longer so I could run and get the camera in order to snap this picture. What a pitiful site!
Because these dogs were originally bred to dig and burrow, this trait of theirs often finds them in situations like the one pictured above. Although Jack was OK, this is concerning to me as I have heard of pets being suffocated in bags. I now have to really keep my eye on Jack just like I did when my children were toddlers.
Oh the things we do for our little pets! Stay tuned for more posts about Jack if you care to follow them. He has had many more mis-adventures!
