Adding Value to Others ~ Lessons From John Maxwell

John Maxwell

I have been behind the scenes of late and I have some exciting news!  I have been training under the Master, John Maxwell!  Any of you whom have had the pleasure of hearing him in person or have read one of his wonderful books knows what a dynamic and inspirational leader that he is.

All of us have a story to tell!  We all have endured struggles, challenges and losses.  We also have enjoyed successes, joy and love and friendship along the way.  I believe that God allows us to experience what we do in order to share it with others.  You never know how your story might impact another.

As I have been in an evaluating mode with this new year, I felt that it was finally time to venture in to an area that I have wanted to for some time!  I get asked frequently to write or share my story!  I have been burdened by my own thoughts of, "who wants to hear my story?"  As I have learned, those sorts of thoughts are self-defeating and do not serve a purpose!

So with a huge breath in.....I have jumped in and am now a certified speaker, trainer and coach with the John Maxwell team.  I am super excited to begin this new journey!  As a real estate professional, being able to add value to others is ultimately what we do.  Now, I am taking it just one step further.

I am in the process of writing my book, am studying and reading daily to continually improve my skill-set and am awaiting the opportunties to be invited to speak.  I am especially excited to speak to women's groups, retreats, educators and fellow real estate professionals!  My message is simple ~ living LIFE FULLY and ABUNDANTLY!

You my fellow Active Rain members have been hearing my voice through blogging for many years.  I have had the privilege of meeting many of you in person and many of you know my story!  I am asking you all to keep me in mind if there is a need for a speaker in your organizations.  How fun would that be to see one another?

Thank you for allowing me to share this adventure with you and to share my heart's desire with you.  I am looking forward to where this year will take me and I am ready to take it on!  I hope that you too are looking forward to a great year and have a plan to get you there!

If I can add value to you and your organization, I would be honored to share my story with you!
